ProActive Parenting for Child-Centered Professionals

When the work you do with children doesn’t prepare you for parenting your own

You love children. You chose a career centered on supporting them.

You looked forward to becoming a parent believing this would feel easy, natural and fulfilling.

Instead, parenting your own child has felt emotionally overwhelming. You might find yourself doing the very things you teach other parents not to do—yelling, reacting, shutting down—and feeling terrified that someone would find out. The shame isn’t just about behavior. It’s about identity.

If I know better, why can’t I do better? What is wrong with me?

You begin to question your competence, integrity, and even whether you are a fraud. When your child struggles socially or emotionally, the worry deepens:    I’ve failed my own child.

I couldn't believe it when this was me! Decades of  working with kids and I was blindsided.  Everything I did so well at work  disappeared when I was  parenting.  My patience, my knowledge...what happened? All my years of training did not prepare me  for  what parenting my own children would bring up in me.  When I discovered the missing  piece, I realized  there was nothing wrong with me . I learned  how to  bring  my expertise  home  to my own kids to build a loving  & connected relationship  while becoming the parent I  want to be  and they need me to be.

In this Program,  I  will  teach &  guide you  to do the same.

About the Program

What You Will Gain

What You Will Gain

ProActive Parenting for Child-Centered Professionals is a 10-week live virtual consultation and guidance program for parents who work with children professionally and feel blindsided by how hard parenting their own children can be.

This is not therapy. It’s a structured, preventative, and deeply supportive space to help parents understand why their children trigger intense emotional responses, how identity and past patterns collide at home, and how supporting themselves directly benefits their child’s well-being.
